Effective October 25, 2026

Who we are

This policy covers cicarellicontractor.com, the website of Cicarelli Contractors, Inc., a licensed general contractor based in Richmond, California (CSLB License #1109419). It explains what information the site collects, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions go to info@cicarellicontractor.com or (650) 404-7049.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us and the basic technical data any website receives:

  • Estimate form: your name, phone number, email address and the ZIP code of the property, then the type of project, details about it and any photos you attach.
  • Details you type before sending: what you type into the estimate form (name, phone, email, ZIP code and project details) is saved as you fill it in and when you leave the page, even if you never click Continue or Send, so we can follow up on your request. Photos are only uploaded when you send the form.
  • Calls, texts and emails: whatever you share when you contact us directly.
  • Technical data: like any website, the server that hosts the site receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which are kept in standard server logs.

How we use it

  • To answer your request, visit the property and prepare an estimate.
  • To plan, schedule and carry out a project you hire us for, including permits and inspections.
  • To keep the business and tax records the law requires.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your information. Google's measurement tools described below help us see which ads and searches bring visitors to the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers that run the site and our office tools, such as website hosting, email and the system that receives form requests, and only so they can provide that service;
  • with subcontractors, suppliers or a city building department when your project needs it, for example the property address on a permit application;
  • when the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a legal dispute.

Cookies and third-party content

A few parts of the page load from other companies:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google measurement tools: the site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, that measure how visitors find and use the site. These tools can set cookies and collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, the device and browser, an approximate location and the ad or link you came from, and Google may combine it with information from other sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and manage ad personalization in My Ad Center.
  • Google Fonts: the typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
  • YouTube videos: videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play; once a video plays, YouTube may set cookies under Google's privacy policy.
  • Links to other sites: links to Google Maps, Google reviews, social networks and government websites open pages governed by their own privacy policies.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this site does not change how it works when the signal is on. The opt-out tools in the section above let you limit Google measurement and ad personalization.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, unless we must keep it for a project in progress or for legal and tax records. Email info@cicarellicontractor.com or call (650) 404-7049, and tell us how you contacted us so we can find your request.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal, tax and warranty obligations, and then delete them.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it for your project. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or passwords through the form.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and update the effective date below. California's Online Privacy Protection Act sets out what a policy like this must include; the California Attorney General summarizes it.

Effective date: October 25, 2026.
